Inventory Detail

The inventory detail report is widely used. It provides information on what is in your inventory, how many of each item, how much they cost, and the last time it was used. It shows the item type code, description, inventory location, person responsible, available quantity, reserved quantity, quantity on order, desired quantity, minimum order size, average cost, total amount, and the reorder level.

The following fields and columns for the Inventory Detail report require explanation:

Summarized By	You can sort the report by Item Type, From Location, or Location Type.
Item Type column	Click the links in this column to drill down to the related Item Type record.
Inventory Location column	Click the links in this column to drill down to the related Inventory Location record.
Quantity On Hand column	Click the links in this column to drill down to the related Inventory Data screen. The value in this column is calculated based on the setting of the Exclude Qty Pending Completion inventory control setup.
Desired Quantity	How many of the items do you want to have available. The value comes from the Desired Available Qty field on the Inventory Data screen.
Min. Order Size	How many items do you want as the minimum reorder quantity. The value comes from the Minimum Order Size field on the Inventory Data screen.
Reorder Level	At what quantity level do you want to trigger the Reorder function for the item. The value comes from the Available Reorder Level field on the Inventory Data screen.
